The Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission was established by the Lodi City Council and charged with the mission to advise the Council on youth-related issues in Lodi.

The Commission is governed by a body of eight volunteers (commissioners) who are appointed by the Mayor to serve three-year terms. The commissioners meet monthly, usually on the second Thursday, at Hutchins Street Square.

The programs of the Youth Commission are administered by the Youth Commission Liaison.
